Bizee, formerly Incfile, bundles agent coverage into its formation packages free of charge, for a window that stretches from a single quarter to a full twelve months depending on the tier. If Bizee is already forming your Nevada LLC, that inclusion has real value and declining it would be strange. Nobody should talk you out of a service you are not being charged for.

The question this page cares about is what happens on the last day of it.

$149 Standalone

That is the rate when the bundled period ends. Fifty dollars a year above ours, for the same statutory seat, from then until you do something about it.

The date it starts is the awkward part. Your free window began when your formation order went through, not on a date you chose, and nothing arrives to mark its ending except a charge. On the three-month package, that charge lands before most new companies have finished their first quarter of trading.

Three Ways Forward, and Nevada Allows All of Them

Worth laying out, because most vendor pages pretend there are only two.

Keep Bizee at $149. Nothing goes wrong. You pay $50 a year more than you have to, and the account continues.

Appoint an office inside your own company. Nevada is a Model Registered Agents Act state, and its rules let an entity with a physical presence here name a specific office or position within itself as the registered agent, according to the Secretary of State's own guidance. Cost: nothing. Conditions: a genuine Nevada street address, published on the public record where anyone searching your entity will read it, with somebody reliably behind it during business hours. Out-of-state owners cannot use this, because the address is the one thing they lack. Home-based owners can, and usually decide they would rather not put a residential address into a searchable state database. A Nevada company with a staffed office and no privacy concern should seriously consider it.

Move to us at $99. The address is ours, the presence is our problem, and the price does not change at renewal.

The Filing That Moves the Appointment

Nevada handles the switch with a single acceptance-and-change document, and NRS 77.280(1)(a) sets the fee at $60 for a statement of change.

1. Enroll with the new agent before you cancel Bizee. Your existing agent stays attached to the entity until Nevada finishes processing the change, which makes the two appointments overlap and keeps coverage continuous. Cancel Bizee first and there is a stretch with nobody appointed, which is the one thing this process is designed to prevent.
2. The new agent accepts in writing. The acceptance sits on the same form. That is the state's mechanism for confirming the incoming agent knows and consents before your record changes.
3. Complete the entity and agent details. Company name as filed, the departing agent, and the arriving agent's name with a Nevada street address.
4. File it with $60. Nevada's SilverFlume portal accepts it, and so does the counter at the Commercial Recordings Division. Same filing either way.
5. Confirm on the public record. When the state's entity search shows the new agent, the switch is complete. That is your signal to close the old account.

Fifty dollars a year against a $60 one-time fee means the move clears its cost inside the second year and pays from there.
