Nevada Regulates the Agent Seat, Not the Subscription Wrapped Around It

Their Pricing Deserves Credit

$125 a year, and it does not move. Not between membership tiers, not between the first year and the fourth. Our review found no promotional rate waiting to expire, which is more than several larger names in this market can say.

The platform is real too. Contract templates, document assembly, attorney questions answered without opening an hourly file. A business that drafts and revises regularly gets something out of that library every month.

What Nevada Requires Is Much Smaller

NRS 77.310 sets out who may hold the registered agent appointment for a Nevada entity, and the list is short:

• A commercial registered agent, meaning a company registered with the Secretary of State to hold appointments at scale. That is us, and it is Rocket Lawyer.
• A noncommercial registered agent, meaning an individual or an entity acting for a small number of companies.
• The title of an office or position inside the represented entity itself, which is Nevada's version of appointing yourself.

That third line is worth pausing on, because vendors rarely mention it. A Nevada company with a physical address in the state can name a position within itself and pay nobody. The Secretary of State describes the route in its own guidance. What it costs instead of money is exposure and attendance: the Nevada street address goes on the public record for anyone to search, and someone has to be there through the business day to take delivery. Owners running a Nevada entity from another state do not have that address. Owners working from a kitchen table have it and generally do not want it indexed. Everyone else should weigh it seriously, because free is free.

Notice what the statute does not mention: a document library, a subscription, or a membership tier. Nevada regulates a seat and an address. Everything wrapped around that is a commercial decision, not a legal requirement.

So the Test Is Usage

If you open Rocket Lawyer's platform monthly, the $125 is buying two things and you want both. Stay.
