The Figure Nobody Shows You

Nevada is an expensive state to keep a company in, which is exactly why the comparison is worth making.

The State Business License required by NRS 76.100 costs an LLC $200 a year. The Annual List of Managers or Managing Members adds $150. Between them, $350 to the Secretary of State annually, due at the close of your anniversary month.

Now put the agent line beside those. At roughly $596, agent service would be the single largest recurring compliance cost your Nevada company carries, nearly three times the business license and well past the state's entire annual take. A support function priced above the government that requires it is a sign to check the arithmetic.
